At university, I started a clothing brand, which began as a mission to fight fast fashion to the best of my ability. I’ve heard so much about fast fashion and sweatshops for years, yet recently, people have moved on from the issue without finding a solid solution. The goal here was to encourage people and teach people by informing them of what they could do with their old clothing instead of throwing it away. This would push companies to use ethical means of production to make sales.
Clothing
All the clothing was obtained through charity shops, then altered/renewed for younger audiences and afterwards, sold alongside (how to at home) leaflets. This created a self-funded loop that allowed for constant production which gave back to charity AND sent a message to customers.
